Way way cool! Could have done with the entire takeoff run as few things can beat the sounds of a pair of R-2800's digging in and syncing up (except 4 2800's doing the same thing!) Still have nothing but deep admiration and respect for guys who would purposely fly into the doorway to hades several times a day.

Thanks for the video link. It brings back memories of flying with my father back in the late 1970's (B-25 Mitchells in Fort Smith, N.W.T.) Especially getting the heavy smell of smoke in the cockpit and the sudden G's when dropping a load.
