Some photos of the CH2A hangar here in Windsor after all of the renovations this past year. Things have really come a long way, and we're slowly getting closer to looking like a museum. :wink:

On a side note the Mossie rebuild is coming along nicely. The guys are currently test fitting the skins to the wing and are working hard to make the required parts to complete the landing gear.

Awesome, the mossie looks great in bare wood, don't think I've seen one looking quite like that, not too many wartime color photo's in construction. I gotta update my passport and get over there.

The T-Bird is a static aircraft only. The engine, along with most of the other components inside were removed before she was given to us.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the goal is to be able to taxi the aircraft when it's complete. The fuselage was built to static standards by Glyn Powell as I recall.

I think they had that Mosquito fuselage on display at a Thunder Over Michigan show a few years ago. Absolutely beautiful wood work!

Does anyone know if there is (or will be) a serial number associated with this Mosquito?

Hey everyone, the Mossie is being rebuilt as a static display, there's talk about doing it to taxiing condition but that will all depend on funding. The fueslage portion was made by Glyn Powell, it was the first to be made using his jigs. As well it's being build as Mosquito KB161 "Vancouver".
