I've got a cruise coming up, from Singapore, stopping in Cambodia, Thailand, and 3 ports in Vietnam. Finish in Hong Kong. We're looking for side-trips.

Does anyone have any suggestions for aviation-related activities in that part of the world?

Thanks,

Dave

Stop by Cu Chi base camp and see if my hootch is still standing. It's right next to the flight line.

67N20,

I heard that hooch was the location of some of the early attempts to overthrow the South Vietnamese government - the infamous Cu Chi Coup.

All joking aside (cu chi coup!), one of the tour possibilities is of the tunnels of Cu Chi, so sure, I'll have a look!

Maybe its a Hilton, now.
