Will you guys ever tour your B-25 in the Southern California area?

Eric

We are thinking of that for this spring/summer...we'll see.

Now that its a bi-monthly, I'm gonna subscribe.

Keep up the good work.

Hi Tim--

Got WD#6 yesterday...excellent issue again...that RCAF-liveried 'stang very nearly makes me weep.

So do the Wild and Whimsical Fury liveries. In a different way. But then I'm dreadfully puritanical about Furies...

Pleased to hear you've stripped the '25. The "sunburnt" underside always did perplex me! If I may toss in my two cents, no one, far as I know, has ever duplicated one of the early field-modified strafer B-25s, which had the glassnose profile, but with the glazing itself paneled over and six .50s sticking out the front. 5th AF engineer named Pappy Gunn (how suitable a name is that!) designed the arrangement which turned B-25Cs and Ds into effective strafers before the advent of the gun-nose Js (and cannon G/Hs). Course the aft end is different on a J, but if any glass Js went to the 5th AF they'd likely have been converted too...But even with the glass nose your version of a Green Dragon did look very cool, and I hope you keep that unit's markings for a while at least.

Also more than pleased to read of the switch to bimonthly publication for WD. Am already signed on for another year (or two...I forget which!); keep up the excellent work...

Cheers

S.

Still haven't got mine, but since I moved out of the folks' home, I don't control the mail anymore.

I'll have a look at the mailbox later today.

Can't wait to see the new issue, and con gratulations on moving up to 6 a year!

Did you by chance save any of the stickers from the Carl V. flights? I was in the waist when we did the Flower Drop over the Punch Bowl.

Did Wally ever show you the photos of the three 25s in formation with the Coast Guard 130 over the North Shore?

Cheers

Yes, we did save the stickers, and I haven't seen the photo of the three B-25s in formation with the C-130...I would like to, however.

Look for the 'special' annoucement in the first paragraph of the editorial.

That editorial about the P-38 guy was interesting. Makes you wonder how many more people are out there who think like that...

That caught my eye as well. That is a work of art and the use of the spell check feature, whee dawgy. Steve, keep up the good work.

You should call the office or send us an email to make sure your address is correct. If you are close to Indiana you should have gotten your copy by now.

I tried the contact us link on the web-site, but it wouldn't work. I'll try to call. Thanks, PJ
