Besides Rod Lewis' B-25, what other projects are taking place there now?

It was at Cable airshow. Aborted takeoff on departure on Sunday afternoon due to what looked like a rather nasty nosewheel shimmy.

Isn't it the one out of Port Clinton Ohio? I believe at the Erie-Ottawa regional airport. The same place where the trimotor is being built. :drink3:

That's the one! Liberty Aviation Museum, located at the Erie-Ottawa regional airport. They're currently working on constructing a new facility that will house both the museum and a diner. Trimotor fuselage is getting further along too. They also have a PT boat along with a number of other vehicles.

Back on topic, I can't wait to see Kermit's A-26 completed. That's going to be a stunning restoration.

Yeah thats the one. I've been talking with the manager(s) at the airport for over a year now about taking over the main hangar and offering maintenance and repair. The thing thats been holding things up is the tri-motor, when they first started building it they only had a portion of the hangar, now they are using most all of it. So hopefully after the new building is built I can get in there and set up shop. In fact, I've talked with one of the guys affiliated with the foundation and the A26 I just moved was offered to them and the person I spoke to about the plane basically refused. Two weeks ago I spoke with another person affiliated with the foundation and the local EAA chapter and they are very interested in being a MAJOR part of the P-40 project that we will be tackling in the very near future. :drink3: :drink3: :drink3:
