Since people seem to think that the off-topic section is for political discussion, something that is frowned upon, I have temporarily closed the section. ANY political discussions in any other forum will be deleted and the user suspended. I have had it with the politically motivated comments.

Does anyone still read the daily newspaper newspaper other than me? I know its going the way of book stores but starting the day out without the paper being delivered to the foot of my driveway would be like a day w/o the WIX!

I don't have access to the internet at work ,but I do have access to, at lunchtime, to at least 5 newspapers. They give you a rundown of the local doings, maybe a little bit dated by todays need for instant updates. The local news stations have a limited amount of time to give and seem to have their political agenda to push and their slant on the news, but so do newspapers. I guess the thing to do is read as much as you can both print and internet/T.V. And it is easier to smack a fly with a rolled up newspaper than a Smart Phone APP.

Been a 7 day a week subscriber to the Everett HERALD for 25+ years, it's one of my constants and I use info from it to balance all the other sources where my news comes from, then balance it all out and see what version has the most heft, then sift that and figure I'm within 80% of what the true story is.
On line news and 98% of what falls out of the TV is stirred crap bent and molded to fit some monied organizations ideas so I take that into account.
