Our Museum has a A26 Invader which we are trying to find some parts for. We are looking for either the plexiglass nose (only need the top part) or a gun nose (4 or 6). Also, we are in need of the rear upper turret (complete), the underwing mounts/shells for the .50 machine guns.
If we are able to find the plexiglass, we will be needing the "bombardiers seat", Bombsight "stand" among other, and bombing "equipment".
While our aircraft once had all of this, sometime waaaayyyy in the past (20 + years ago!), a member of the Museum allowed someone to come in and basically take any parts they wanted to.. Now we are trying get her back into shape.
I can be contacted either at joemusso@pwam.org or at the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum (http://www.pwam.org) website, or by calling (719)948-9219 Wed, Fri, or Sat. (Ask for Joe or Dick)

Look for the above titled thread. There are a couple A26's sitting out in Buckeye Arizona at the airport. Google "Desert Rat" B-17 located in Marengo Illinois, Mike has a A26 just sitting out back of his shop. I don't know if they would have what you are looking for but it is a start. :drink3:
