Hello,

Being a passionate Hurricane fighter fan, I am trying to find out when is the next Hurricane due to fly in the UK (Hawker Restorations?). I love their work.

By the way, the book titled "Hurricane R4118" by Peter Vacher about the recovery & rebuild of his Hurricane is just awesome!

Cheers,

Ron W.

I was there quite recently and it looks to be progressing quite well, I imagine it wont be too far off as long as Christmas doesnt get in the way!!

Hello,

Thanks for the info. Any idea on the model/owner of the current Hurricane rebuild?

All the best,

Ron

I would guess it either 1 of these 2...

BW881 G-KAMM Flying Heritage Collection Sea Hurricane Mk IIa
'Z5252' G-BWHA Hugh Taylor Hurricane Mk IIb

Out of the 2.. I would have punt on the Hugh Taylor machine... It is not 'Z5252'... but another Z serial...

Think P2902/G-ROBT could well be a contender during '06
