http://www.novosti.rs/vesti/naslovna/ak ... lokid-P-38Anyone with more specifics as to the plans for this aircraft, where in California it is headed to, and whether it has reached the u.s. yet? The Muzej vazduhoplovstva-Beograd sure has some rare and valuable aircraft in it's collection. They have done a fine job protecting many of them if you consider all that has gone on in the region since world war 2. The report indicates they've been having trouble with funding the restoration and upkeep of their aircraft. Perhaps they would be willing to part with another aircraft with little relevance to Yugoslavian aviation history to fund their efforts. I am only hoping, as I don't see myself traveling to Serbia any time soon.
