The re-release of the Monogram Visible B-17 comes with the Cheyanne, as a replacement (you need to cut the older tail off of the model first)

Wish I could claim them, but they are not mine. There is a 1:48th B-17 Build contest going on on another site I frequent. Amazing, amazing stuff.

I will take pics in the morning. I didn't forget, just on the road a bit. That was Tom Friedman who I bought that T-33 from. HAHA I did get pics up eventually. I will take some of the overall man cave.

Well let's see. I started with research. I wanted to make it look as if the crew just got back from a mission. I bought the big Ed sets from Eduard for the interior compartments. You can't see it but inside I have all the gauges and panels in it along with ammo belts. That's the bad thing when you put the clear half on it makes it tougher to see and photo details. But its needed for protection. Then I got wood and carved the table and doors out. Then made maps for the navigators table. I wanted to depict shell casings on the floor and did this by buying lead for mechanical pencils and painting it brass. the ball turret has correct structure and ammo cans and there is even a toilet back by the tail wheel. I did find out afterward that a way to fill seams was to just paint about a quarter of an inch over onto the clear side so you can use filler. I think I need to start another. By the way first pic right beyond the chair is the windshield. Along with Bill Greenwoods Spit tire

I'm jealous of your man cave, my man cave (aka WIX HQ) is 6 foot wide by about 10 feet long and used to be a porch. Whoever enclosed it neglected to insulate the outer walls so I'm thankful this winter has been mild!
