Interesting find. I pm'd Mikael over at preserved axis aircraft and note that this one isn't on the list of preserved airframes, though I didn't check relics.
Looks like there's still interesting stuff still out there to find...

Not sure this person knows what he's got. It's listed as a functional JET

It looks like a replica built up around some original wreckage to me.

Ill tell you, a 163 Komet would be an appropriate aircraft for the CASC collection on the count that Rudy Opitz ended up settling here for the majority of his life, flying gliders. One crazy aircraft.

Obviously a collection of parts and some fab'd up stuff, but come on, you have to totally dig that Krylon Camo!

Looks like a Home Depot project scabbed together with original bits.
This probably has more provenance.

And it's a very impressive machine in the air. I saw it flown with considerable panache at La Ferte Alais a couple of years back.

That's a fairly lame write-up for such a rare aircraft. Wouldn't something like that be better sold at Sothebys or similar? WORTH 3 MILLION!! Starting bid $650,000. How does one come up with the 3 million figure? Have any Me-163 sold for that amount in recent history? Have any been sold? What did he have, 6 photos? Really? Did he list any personal contact information? Location of the aircraft for personal viewing? Maybe he did, I read it very quickly. Anyway,
I'm being sarcastic, facetious, and cynical.

The IWM at Duxford sold theirs to Paul Allen a few years back for IIRC a 7-figure (sterling, not dollars) sum, to fund the acquisition of the DH-9
