Last week MeierMotors had some maidenflight action.

At first Achim Meier flew the TF-51 "Little Ite" D-FUNN on Friday 17th March 2012,



18th the Spitfire T9 took the skies over South Germany

Our Sea Fury is also a former Target Tug (D-COTE) and when first brought to Germany for tug duties it was registered and flown for a period as D-FOTE. I do know that D-CAMI was also flown as D-FAMI. Is it possible that yours was the same? That would seem to solve your problem.

"Another example to get the curve back to the job of MeierMotors. As you know, there is a SeaFury under restauration. It was formally registered as D-CACE in Germany while doing service for the new Luftwaffe as target-tower. Of course MM wants to register that ship again as D-CACE, preserving history again. But without weapons and/or target winch the fighter will be too light for the "C"-rule. It will be easier to register the ship in Germany, cause there was a former registry for that airframe, so SeaFuries are on the "list", so a "F"-registration will be no problem. But to get the D-CACE registry they must push up the max. start weight. To fly with less weight is no problem, but it must be possible for the plane to have a MTOW of min. 5,7tons. Another problem are the costs. Of course the "c"-ships have a more expensive insurance, its another aircraft-class (the same problem "C" to "A"). Such prblems are really normal in Germany. "

Hello friends, time for some updates ... at first lets turn to the Buchon project. Work is going on, step by step and its a lot of work. The team buildt a frame to build up the rear part of the fuselage (in German its called "Helling") while Juergen is working on the wings

wish is wish .... the owner wanted a noseart, an indian chief. Radek, really an artist, choosed the Oglala chief Crazy Horse and painted the cowling .... this man is incredible. An artist in sheetmetal bodywork and an artist with colors. Look at that

Just wondering why the exhaust is routed on the side of the AT-6? Does the exhaust provide some cockpit heat?
