TBH, from what I learned about the L-39 from the Cold War Air Museum guys, a belly in an L-39 isn't much to do about anything. The fuselage is strengthened for this kind of thing so most likely, it just is going to require some skin work and that's about it.
One of the things I was told was that the reason for inactivating the seats on the L-39s in Lancaster was simply that for most cases, it was better to stay with the airplane anyway since it has decent glide characteristics and can handle fairly rough terrain on the gear and if you have to belly it, like I said, the plane's pretty tough.

I was at the Punta Gorda show on Sat the 24th. Only the two Mig-17's flew in the show, the L39 5 ship did not. It was a pretty compact show until that point and we had the lull until the BA's closed the show. I was looking forward to the full Black Diamond demo. I wonder why they grounded the other 4 L39's? I don't know what happened on Sunday.
I was happy to see Freddy Cabanas fly John O'Conner's Blue Angeles Bearcat in a full acro demo! I'll post some video soon.
