Need some info: ASTM-E-1417M and T.O. 9H2-2-3-4

Thu Mar 29, 2012 9:39 pm

1: We need to obtain a copy of ASTM-E-1417M ? We need it to include in our C-97 Maintenance program as it is the standard which supersedes MIl 6866 Type 1. I'd really appreciate it.

2: I need a copy of T.O. 9H2-2-3-4. It's for the hydraulic cylinder on the cargo door of the C-97. We need to get p/n's for the seals inside the cylinders. We got a leaker.

Anyone out there have any of these documents?

If you have a college with an engineeing program. hit their library for the ASTM standard. If not, or you don't want to wait, then try this link:

If you hit the library, make sure that you are getting ASTM E1417/E1417M-11e1, as it's the latest version.

If you can identify the p/n for the cylinder in this list, Thomson has it.

Thomson doesn't have it.

Newport Aero lists it, but they dont have it.

Still searching!
