Hi all, as part of the ongoing upgrades and expansion of the site and a general waning of interest in Warbirds. We will be renaming the Warbird Information Exchange to the Submarine Information Exhchange (SIX). The Warbird Registry will be changed to the Submarine Registry and will document the history of all of the submarines that survived military service. We will hopefully have some new articles up soon about the recovering of the U-Boat that carried the Third Reichs gold reserves to Argentina as well as what it takes to modify a Skipjack class submarine for the San Diego submarine races. Personally I'm rather excited about the new direction the site will be taking. So stay tuned for a complete content and cosmetic rebuilding in the next few weeks.

You will continue to monitor the adventures of TIGHAR though, won't you?

How are those little guys from Area 51 going to fit in? They are going to feel slighted and segregated! Would it be possible to have extra-terrestrial submarine races in the Great Salt Lake too?

Hmmmm...wouldn't the name DeepSIX be more appropriate for sub forum?

That's it I'm leaving. Cancel my membership and all that I'm outta here jazz. My mother said this place was going down but I can see now that it'll be going under in fairly short order.

Does this mean you'll let Bill Greenwood come back?

Great! I'm tired of reading about warbirds and am ready to move on to something more exciting!

Scott... nah, submarines are boring. How bout something to do with farm tractors instead?? That would be big out here in the Lone Star Republic. Be a good reason to show pics of farm animals, too! You know like... uh, sheep for example... or whatever. Wait, would that make it a porno site? JR

In related news, the aerial portion of Thunder Over Michigan has been canceled and the show has been moved across the state to Lake Michigan. It will be renamed Thunder Under Michigan.

I also saw a B-36 flying around this morning
