Just wanted to remind anyone in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area that this evening the Tulsa Air and Space Museum hosts its annual Aviator Ball held in the new American Airlines Hangar 80 (the big baggie on the north side of the airport). As part of that event, quite a few airplanes will be flying over and doing high-speed passes for folks to observe. Aircraft presently scheduled to come are a P-51, some T-6s, some Yak-52s, Chipmunks, a couple of biplanes, a couple of jet trainers, and potentially a few more just for good measure. The flyovers will go north-south on the east end of Hangar 80, and will be easily visible from 36/46th street north and the access roads near the control tower and US Aviation (Roger Hardesty's FBO). If you'd like to come to the event and support the museum, call TASM at 918-834-9900 this afternoon. If you just want to see aircraft, they will start their flyovers at about 6:15 PM and will fly for about 30 minutes.
Heads up!
kevin
