With spring in place in Montréal, it's time to get the green monster ready for the summer.
First thing to be done is to get rid of the nasty old oil...

We are putting some new stuff on the airplane this year, starting with new cowling pads. We found a bunch of them in our stock room.

We are also making new hoses, and once they are made, testing is required.

The joys of ownership, but in-the-round!
Good idea about the hoses, Ollie. I did the same with the Fairchild when I bought it -- replaced them all.
I hope your CHT works -- the bible for operating a round engine. If not, Banaire has a lot of new old stock.
