I started digitizing some of my old VHS stuff... this video is from the Saturday "fly-in" part of the 1990 Breckenridge, TX
airshow....I didn't make the Sunday show that year...so this is all I've got :(

Enjoy!

Breckenridge... ah, yes, those were the days! We'll never see warbird gatherings like that again. :(

I agree... not sure if we will see that type of Warbird gathering again.... UNLESS they have another Breckenridge show. We were allowed to be right WITH the airplanes and be close to the action.

Great video, Zane. I think I saw my Dad in your video which means I was right near by!

Here is my small gallery of photos from 1990.

I loved loved Breckenridge airshows....We'd get there about Thursday so we could be there for the arrivals and just hang out. The trip to Connies place in his PBY, the evening dinners, the aerial antics....what a time. Forever cherished in my memory.

Great video. Like many of you my first thought was how close people were allowed to the runway. Them was the days before the ruled and regualted the fun out of airshows.

I saw Dave Forrest's former Skyraider in those shots, an aircraft now with MAM. The TBM looks to be another MAM warbird now, I believe it belonged to Gary Applebaum back then.

Cool, cool video.

Wow what a trip down memory lane! At the 6:05 mark in the video is 2 of the 3 planes we flew down from Kenosha Wisconsin. Marion Gregory and his T-6, Faye Gregory and her T-34, and Terry Adams in his T-6. What a kick ass time.
