Warbird Information Exchange

This is advertised near me. It mentions it being a Military Generator but it's produced by Atlas Aircraft Products. Is this an aircraft APU?

Hello Jerry,

A cool find.

It is similar to the power units used on vehicles and for portable servicing. I believe that your generator was used for ground operations instead of being aircraft mounted. What voltage does it put out? Is there a nomenclature tag with a designation on it?
