They were loaners from the Air Force Museum, so they were (as best I recall) relocated to other places. Some may have been scrapped as the I recall a lot of corrosion on some. The C-124 had it's wings removed, then the fuselage split so it could be loaded on a C-5 and hauled to it's new home. There is an issue of the CAF DISPATCH[u][/u] that has pictures of the move.

The 124 went to Robbins, IIRC.
