One of the mechanics at work loaned these to me to copy, his grandfather was in a B-24 outfit in the Pacific and saved all the photos that he could. I have a roll of photos that is about 5 inches in diameter, so this may take a while.

It would be interesting to see modern day shots of the same areas side by side to see how much the areas have evolved/devolved in nearly 70 years.
