Harry Moyer and his P-40N first flight since 1945!!!

Harry flies into VAF all the time and we are thrilled and honored to call him a good friend.
At 92 Harry is the last actively flying P-40 pilot in the country who hadn't sat in P-40 since 1945. Prof Vosburgh is friends with the guys at the Planes of Fame air museum, who has a P-40N.
A few phone calls later...

It's like one of those sub-editing test questions I've had:
"At 92 Harry is the last actively flying P-40 pilot in the country who hadn't sat in P-40 since 1945."
Should be:
"At 92 Harry is, as far as we know, the last actively flying pilot who used to fly P-40s in the war. He hadn't sat in P-40 since 1945, until... "

Neat news item, thanks for sharing.
