This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I never posted that I would be in Teeterboro with our B17 2 weeks ago. Sorry about that, I would have loved to meet the Wixer's that where there. So I will do better this weekend at Benton Harbor. All Three of our planes will be there. Flex rides on the B17 and the B25. If you make the show, please look me up or drop me a pm. I'll be with the B17 as far as I know. Joe Amend

Unfortunately my regular work schedule has me working most every weekend (I've been the low man on the seniority totem pole since I started there three years ago..hopefully they'll eventually hire some new people and I'll be able to move up the ladder and get off the crap shifts.)
Oh well, the Thunderbirds are in town this weekend, and we only live about a mile from the airport.

Got home from work late Wed. . seen your, post copied the show brochure and finally looked at it this morning and seen the 25TH division "Wolfhounds" re-enactors are going to be there. Called my brother who went with me to Reading Pa. for their WW2 weekend about this ,he is a "Wolfhound" from Nam. and here we come Sat. bright and early. Won't go to the beach for the landings , just hang at the airport and maybe see a cousin of mine who is a "German" re-enactor from S.Bend and may be there. Maybe take a flight in a helicoptor. AAAHHH the weekend awaits

Nice show, didn't go to the beach landings, talked to a lot of re-enactors and vehicle owners. Seen a nice Swift in one hanger. Flew in the Huey with my brother, the last time he was in a Huey he was being medivac'd from a rice paddy in 1967. He said it felt great this time. The Huey was very busy as was the other "Bubble Top" chopper. The B-17 did a few flights, no B-25. Surprised that there was no charge for parking or admission, a nice crowd was there, not crushing like Reading or Thunder over Mich. Heard from some who said this may be the last as the person in charge doing the show is getting tired of doing it. He needs help or something. I hope this continues and if this show has been going on for a few years and I just found out about it and only live 45 min. away they better advertise it better. It's a great little show and I don't want to see it stop.
