That reminds me.....MODELERS PLEASE TAKE NOTE..........stop drybrushing your .50 Cal. Machine Guns!!!!!!!!!
32 years in the Army, Central America in the 80s, Grenada, Desert Shield/Storm, OIF3.....I have never seen a .50 with as much wear as you show it. Maybe some on the pintle mounts or feed tray...maybe
Those finishes are incredibly tough.
Ok, stepping down from the soap box...and by the way...I'm one of YOU! One of these days I'll post a pic of a UH-1H that has more mix and match components, and colors, than anything you will ever dream of...but we made it purty before we put it at Camp Perry.
