Seeing that we have a not serious thread about VTOL I will ask a silly question that I have wondered about.
Has there been any research or development of tailsitter vertical take off and landing since the Convair Pogo and its contemporary?
Have technologies such as fly by wire/rearview TV screens etc made the idea any more feasible?
