Warbird Information Exchange

On a recent trip to Darwin i did, the RAAF held a open day for a tactical exercise and part of included a very small warbird static display.

Along with other warbird friends we saw on display a T-6 Harvard in RNZAF scheme, a Tigermoth in RAAF markings and a civil marked Auster.

The far north of Australia has a relatively small warbird operation but neverless, these aircraft gave a good comparison for the public to see the fast jets and WW2 era aircraft alongside each other and to also see how 40years of technology had advanced.
