My airplane's engine does not use excessive amounts of oil when operating, but if it sits for two weeks, start up generates a real mess! Do I have a blower seal issue or simply worn valve guides?

Pretty normal. Hope you pull the prop through by hand at least 2 revolutions which is 1 complete cycle of all cylinders.
Stoney has a system you use to keep the fwd sump and lower cylinders clear of oil. It drains into a can you dump in the oil tank when you go fly.

What are the odds that the mods can comb most/many of the previous Texan threads and move them to this new location ... even a little at a time?

And the odds of saying "restoration, maintenance ... and operation"?

I'll work on moving the T-6 threads to the new section...but I need your help!
It takes some time to find and then @ 5-6 steps to move them.
I have done a few already.

If you run across one send me a PM with a link to the thread.

Thanks!

More for Rich...I always pull the prop thru nine blades...the guys here (and I tend to agree) think the issue is more worn valve guides and that a few new cylinders are the cure. Sometimes, by carefully positioning the prop vertically after shutdown, I can minimize the mess on the next start. Any more suggestions?

This is a horrible idea, supported only by those on WIX's Oil Party, and those with an anti-Fairchild agenda. Furthermore, it is biased against all other warbirds, and might possibly have something to do with improper funding sources. I ask Scott and the Mods to lock this thread, as further posting will only continue the turmoil and pain it has caused myself and others on the site.
