I got a few good pictures of the B-29 while there. I couldnt get any closer due to where we were sitting.

I hate to admit it but the years are showing. I'm not satisfied with the overhead shots but I figure that it was a good job, seeing that it was one handed. Yes, the higher we got, the more uncomfortable that I got.

Great shots everybody! I managed to catch up with Fifi at the Canadian Warplane Heritage the day after the Hamilton Air Show. Fortunately for me, she had to stay over Sunday night to wait out some weather. We couldn't get too close to her on the ramp, but the CWH has an observation deck where we got a spectacular view of her startup and departure.

And a couple from the airshow the day before. Unfortunately we arrived on the grounds just as they were shutting down the ramp to begin flying, but the taxi strip had a great view.

Ironically, Fifi spent a few days less than a half-hour from my house last month when she visited the Kalamazoo Air Zoo. Of course, she arrived the very day my wife and I headed out to Florida on vacation! I swear, the CAF and Collings Foundation must secretly check my calendar, because the only times they ever seem to visit my area is when I'm out of town!

I never tire of seeing Fifi,, especially the "runway check" they did at Keene NH many yrs. ago. Spectacular to say the least.
