A place where restoration project-type threads can go to avoid falling off the main page in the WIX hangar. Feel free to start threads on Restoration projects and/or warbird maintenance here. Named in memoriam for Gary Austin, a good friend of the site and known as RetroAviation here. He will be sorely missed.

It was great being able to meet up with you guys at the show. All I can say is these pictures on here don't do that aircraft justice, It is just breathtaking to see this PBJ-1J in person. Great work, and I look forward to keeping in touch with you about our B-25J project and any help I can provide.

It's such a disgrace to leave signs like that for people to view. Maybe someone should burn it out so the good people of California won't have to live with it (hee, hee)

I was lucky enough to visit Camarillo last Tuesday. What a fine museum and collection. The PBJ looks even better in person! Can't wait to see her fly! One question...I could see some sort of Lockheed twin on down the ramp towards the tower. Any idea what it is and do you have any pictures of it?
Thanks and wishing good luck on the rest of your restoration.
