Let me know if you are interested in making an offer to purchase the entire lot.
I see lots of things that aren't woth a whole lot but I also see components for a Nordon sight/Sperry & related as well as other things that can cost a decent amount.

Hello all.
I believe I might have found quite a few B-29 parts.
The owner passed on & I am dealing with the family. They have a massive collection of junk but I have recently started finding guages, bomb sites, rescue beacons & other vintage aircraft items.
One that I'm concentrating on right now is what appears to be a B-29 sighting window blister.
The owner was a Naval/mechanical engineer & a huge collector of all things & one of the family members is telling me that this window came out of a "bomber".
Can anyone give me a measurment or what to look for? I'd like to "free" this from its dusty resting place & get it out so someone can use it for a restoration or replacement. Any idea of what they are worth? The $$ goes to his family.
I am an automotive/marine restoration hobby guy but would rate this in very good condition with no visible signs of damage of any kind.
Next up is what appears to be a Sperry sight for a bomber. I'll have to start getting photos up because this stuff will either have to be sold quickly (emptying out the house for the estate) or god forbid, it gets scrpped.
Thanks!
David

If you can get photos of the items you need identified and post them here, I'm sure the "WIX Braintrust" will be able to quickly identify them (and some of our folks will probably want to buy them!).

Does the family have any radio communication and accessories equipment available? I'd be interested in hearing about that kind of thing. Transmitters, receivers, mounting racks, control heads, cables, connectors, antennas and antenna hardware, Morse keys, microphones, headsets, etc, are of interest to me and to friends who also collect.

Hi Dean
I will be back at the house tomorrow (Wednesday). I'll hunt for the radios & any related devices. I have not seen any yet but that's not to say there aren't any.
The only transmitting thing I have identified so far is a "gibson girl" distress transmitter. From what I see on completed Ebay listings, they only go for $60-$110 so I'm not going after it unless he says it's free. I think he said he want's $75 so it's not worth the work of photos, listing it, packing and shipping.
