Dear Friends
it is my duty to inform you that as of January 2006, I am a newly appointed member of the voluntary staff at the Swiss AF Museum at Dübendorf Air Base near Zurich, Switzerland. My duties will be supervision and sometimes acting as a guide.
This means that I will spend one or two weekends per month at the museum with plenty of opportunities to take pictures outside the opening hours from angles and at close ranges that are not allowed to / attainable by the 'regular visitor'.
I will also have access to the nearby maintenance / hangar area of our 4 airworthy Junkers Ju-52/3m (still with BMW 132 engines) plus the DC-3 in old Swissair colour scheme.
So if you have any photo-wishes (detail-shots, etc.) of any of the above and below aircraft on display, please let me know

Also on display are a variety of anti-aircraft weapons (cannons, rockets) etc, plus aircraft weapons (guns, bombs, rockets) and gunsights, radar & radio equipment, auxiliary equipment, etc, etc.......
Cheers everyone and Happy Thanksgiving !
