This weekend coming up in Narromine NSW is a aviation event called Ausfly and planned to be flying tomorrow and Saturday are some warbird as part of a small air display - types to be flying will include Avenger, Mustang and Wirraway i understand.
Ill be in attendance so hopefully will get some photos to share with others and if anyone else goes .. some more?
Narromine is famous as it was home to one of Australia earliest aero clubs and then in WW2 RAF special Mosquito group who were based there, training to sink Japanese warships with bouncing bombs. There is a great small museum also on the airfield which i covered in a recent Australia Pilot story earlier this year.
