He's talking about the smiley face eating popcorn. Pretty boring if you ask me.

That can't have been very safe, but then again, I had an old chopper pilot from the Vietnam era tell me they sometimes used the huey's blades to cut a runway if they were in a jam...I'd love to know who this guy is. It looked like he was in South Louisiana. Anybody got a guess?

I thought it was safe with what he had to work with. If the model had been further down the tree or it was the student attempting it, things coulda been dicey. One of those things helicopters are made for as long as an experienced professional is performing the task.

That is such a cool video. The R22 is perfect for just that kinda think. I think Frank Robinson may be paying that Helicopter School a visit here before long when he finds out who it was. He loves things that show off the low downwash that his rotor system has and that was one of them. I doubt many other helos could have done that because they would've blown the model out of the tree.

When I was a kid, we'd launch model rockets off the perimeter of the airfield. They would end up in a field of tall grass nearby.
The county police operated Bell 47's from that end of the field, and would occasionally play "fetch" with the rocket's parachute hung on a skid tip

I am very skeptical that this video was not a set up.
