Anyone looking for a unique dining experience. This is at the New Smyrna airport where American Aero Services is at. 32,800-something flt hrs is alot of flying. One of my Coast Guard friends dad flew on this aircraft back in the day. He sent it to me.

So sad to see the Florida Air Transport fleet getting grounded so quickly. First the DC-4 (last used for the opening episode of Vegas before being grounded permanently), now their DC-7C. The Eastern DC-7 still hasn't gotten fixed and is looking more and more likely to never occur. I think the massive increase in AvGas prices, especially in the Caribbean in the last couple years was the final nail in the coffin for the 4-engined beauties.

I hate to say it because she is a beautiful bird but my bet is it will be cut up and scapped within 5 years when the novelty wears off.We have all seen this before and it ended the same way.
