Cute video. I've always loved the Tigercat since I built my first model of it (the 1/72 Monogram version) when I was just a kid. It's just a very cool looking airplane from just about any angle....and the sound of two R2800s can't be beat! Which Bureau Number is this one?

This Tigercat has never flown in civilian service. It is probably the most unmodified one in civilian hands. It was obtained in a trade directly from the navy. Should be stunning when done. Westpac has some real craftsman!

Will it be finished in a 'from the factory' scheme? I did not know this about this aircraft. Fantastic!

It's interesting that bureau numbers 80373, 374 and 375 are all extant. I wonder how many other warbirds have three survivors in sequential order?

I'm not sure about others, but I know that TA-4 Skyhawks 153523, 153524, and 153525 all survive. At one point in 2003, 523 and 525 were still airworthy together with VC-8 while 524 was just a few months short of returning to the air again. Now 524 is the only one left airworthy while 523 and 525 are in museums.
