Whenever I hear of a celebrity running around trying to stop people from selling their likeness, I'm reminded of ancient tribesmen fleeing from National Geographic photographers because they fear the cameras will steal their soul.
Get over it, already.

So what happens once he is gone?
Will the estate continue to try to control his image?
I would suppose that they have that option ie Elvis etc

Actually they can have someone control his image. Its actually property that can be passed on by a will...... I forget the name, but there is a law firm in LA that represents James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, etc.. All clients are dead and generate lots of money..... Those lawyers have it good....
