Anyone who has seen F-22s land could see where this is a possibility, am really surprised it hasn't happened more. They really come in nose high.

It doesn't take much damage to rack up a high repair bill. Duh....

The event will probably be used as another excuse to attack the F-22, L-M, the Pentagon, USAF and even the F-35. :wink:

When I was in an A-10 unit we came close to have a Class A mishap (by dollar value) when a laser designator pod was wrecked.
No damage to the airframe, no injuries, but the pod was toast.
