Lynn (and Pat), the FHC Mossie was on public view for many years (I have pictures from a visit in 1979) hanging from the ceiling of the Imperial War Museum in London. Later traded to Stephen Grey and at some point moved on to FHC. Very intact except the wing was sawed off on one side in order to fit in the building.

Here's the 'lopsided' TV959 when hanging up at the IWM Lambeth. It was last flown during filming of 633 Squadron, and struck off charge soon afterwards, when the wing was sawn off and the aircraft put on display at Lambeth.
