I digitized my uncle's old 8mm film and found this little snippet of an early 1960 Reno race.

Can't be 1960, the first year for Reno was 1964.

Thanks for clarifying. I didn't know what year the film was taken that's why I said early 1960s.

nice to see. thanks for posting. in the end were they racing that low to the ground? or demo?

I have no idea. I wasn't even born yet. My cousin and I have been digitizing all of my uncle's old 8mm movies and came across this one. My uncle was a big fan of Reno and Oshkosh so seeing this video in the pile wasn't a surprise. I have a small video of a Corsair that I still need to convert. I know that the batch of videos are from 1961-1964 so I am glad someone was able to pinpoint the year for me. It helps confirm when some of the other family videos were taken. Memories get fuzzy.

Racing, rules for low flying were much different back then.
