Nine O Nine and All American visit Sevierville TN 1992 video

Wed Jan 02, 2013 2:14 pm

uploaded this recently. Fairly routine with a walk-through of the B-24, but includes a run-up (complete with B-17 engine burp at 14:11) and a pretty sweet takeoff and low pass towards the end.

Yeah, there is a reason we call them the "yousta" days... I do miss the silver 24

Very cool, thanks for posting! All American/Witchcraft is one of my very favorite birds of all time! :D

What's the story on low passes becoming history? For that matter, why'd the CAF stop doing the one-wheel-down landing routine during the Tora segments? Yeah, I'm pretty sure I can guess it's because of safety regs and all, but thought I'd ask anyway 'cuz hearing the insiders here on WIX talk about such matters is always interesting, and such great fun.

Our exemption letter and foundation policy prohibit "low approaches". There is no need for that anymore and does not comply with our mission. The smoke oil tanks and pumps were removed years ago. The cowboy days are over.
