Sat Dec 10, 2005 11:37 pm

my wife is in the restaurant / bar biz, her place serves some wines & beers with unique, humorous, & attention getting names, not to mention that it's all quality stuff. as for the wine names they are as follows....
"fat bastard" & "royal bitch" they come in merlot, charddonay & shiraz. as for beer check this name out.... "old leg humper" robust porter. old leg humper's slogan is.. "so many legs...... so little time!!" & then it portrays a black lab surrounded by a bevvy of beautiful ladies legs in high heal shoes & short skirts. tim herr wix brew meister you should get in on this!!! i know there are other boozes with catchy names out their, let's hear em!! let alone taste em!! :drinkers:  regards, tom

aaawww come on!!!! it's name isn't fat fluffy bunny, that's lame!!! i guess i can't repeat it!! i can't believe the 1st real name wine is inappropriate, but the 2nd 1 isn't. even though you are the big kahuna, it's no fault of yours scott, i know it's lonely at the top as chief bottle washer & cook, but it is ridiculous on the grand scale that the wine name fat b*stard got bleeped. i realize your keeping the peace ethically, as well as morally is a big responsibility as the site police, but i can think of worse words that have been posted on the site than fat b*stard wine. all i tried to do was relate a little mature humour to the group. :o   regards, tom

LOL, thats because I add words to the profanity filter as I see them. Unfortunately I cannot turn them off for specific instances like yours or I would do so. I think I will remove bastard from the list though since I hear that on TV.
