Back in c. 1985 several vintage aircraft operated out of Aguacate AB in Honduras.

Among them is this Lockheed PV-1/PV2? with a four bladed prop. The scheme was probably a dark weathered green. No Reg # is known for now.

Does anyone remember this aircraft is S. Florida c. 1984-85 or after c. 1987? or have any other pictures of it?? Photo via AEC.

The first thing that crossed my mind was Howard 500.

This is the rumoured Contra Howard 500 and has sometimes been quoted as being painted in Zebra stripes (!). We would very much like to find more info on this aircraft too! http://www.rcafventura.ca

Hercrat:

Good day!

Tks for the info/data. Will pursue other data via your link!

It sure looks like a Howard 500. Prob weathered green as seen of this State Dpt Pic. c.1985. Pic included.

p.s Has anyone seen pics of the grey/dark grey DC-6?? This sample crashed c.1984 or so in Nicaragua!
