Holy smokes, I didn't realize this one had ended up with the Sanders bunch! Any idea what the time frame for completions is estimated to be? I'm sure it will be a beautiful job when it's finished, looking forward to it.

EDIT: I found the answer on their website: I didn't know that B-23 was actively restored to flying status

Yet another interesting Corsair restoration to join the Connecticut Corsair, the Warbird Heritage Foundation's Corsair and others. Do we know which B-23 this is or where it came from?

The B-23 is the example owned by Jim Slattery (whose aircraft have come up quite a bit lately: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=48082&hilit=), serial no. 2719, N747M.

Thank you Dan for the heads up on the latest progress photos being posted of the Corsair restoration! I always enjoy seeing the original paint and primer finishes on the interior surfaces and confines that has remained since original manufacture.

That dog is in the same position on at least two different days! maybe he's stuffed and just used to scare people away! :D

The registered owner of this Corsair also has other project birds registerd to them.
According to Father FAA- DB Aero Inc also owns 5 SeaFury projects N38SF, N46SF, N59SF, N62SF, and N985HW. I would assume the Sea Fury Kings at Sanders would be restoring these as well. Does anyone know if that is the case? They also own N3N-3 N45131, does anyone know if that is a project or a current flyer?

According to their website, N45131 has been flying since 2008.

Hi gents,maybe the DB in DB aero stands for Dennis & Brian,I did a search a while ago looking for this company to see what remained of these FAA regos but did not find a contact,can never have too many Furies,cheers,Pete

The dog is lulling you into a false sense of security it's coiled spring , get too close to the aircraft and it will leap up and rip out your juggler ...jugoler...throat ;)
