You need to look at the context for this episode - to quote from the u tube link
"Taken from the BBC children's TV series Horrible Histories"

A desription of the series - "stuffed full of blood, battles and black humour – and will also give children some of the great facts and narratives of history".[

The Wikopedia entry on Horrible Histories has evidence that someone is very passionate about the concept of taking the serious out of history and presenting it in a way that appeals to children and can crossover to adults.
This worked in my family. When my children were younger they would come out with obscure facts that they would have had no contact with if not for the books and the shows.

BUT - doesn't the Spitfire have a blade too many for BoB

For a bunch of rivet counters and paint shade kibutzers, you folks sure miss a lot! :?
I asked what was the mistake in all three videos ands none of the Sherlocks present figured it out-
IF everyone in all three videos WERE in the RAF and WERE fighter pilots during WW 2 then why oh why did they all have the top button on their blouses fastened????    :bs: :spit :spit

Since they fly Spitfires, would that make them flaming thespians?
