Nice job of photoshopping a prop and spinner to this image

YES! Awesome job as always. Thank you. :supz:

Ironically, I found your work on the A7M image the most interesting because I had seen the original on Wikipedia before and the comparison gave me an idea of what you actually do to the pictures to improve their quality.

Mark, you're worth millions as far as I'm concerned -- THANK YOU!! Now.....

I guess the "Workhorse" got along well - better? - without the vertical stabs? Or were they shot off? Or maybe they parked the bananas in a bad neighborhood last night?

Those were entered in the Reno Siver Race in 1988 but failed to qualify-

Man, Who are you, and can I come over and hang out at your house? I've been looking at warbirds for 30 years and you consistently show pictures I have never seen. Where did you get your collection (maybe this is Mr. Bowers reincarnation?) As long as you're posting pics how about F3F's and end users of high powered recips (drug runners, fish haulers, gun runners, etc.)

Mark, I just realized that 345th BG B-57 pic is actually a MODEL! Specifically, it's the Italeri 1/72 model; if you look close, you can see the upper fuselage seam and the raised panel lines. That's no ding on you, obviously, because someone did an AMAZING job of photoshopping it into a realistic scene- so amazing, it immediately fooled me.

To make up for it, have a blue Demon with a little cheesecake. :)

Cheers!

Good morning fellas and thx as usual. No need to thank me. Just a bunch of old photos that's all. I hope many of you are saving what you like. Lynn that would be the second time I've been fooled by a very nice and realistic model as well. There's some outstanding talent out there isn't there. Ah well, I'll post several more Canberra's for you to make up for it.

BTW it's been real nice that most folks just enjoy these photos. There for ALL of us to have and enjoy. I'm actually getting a kick out of my photoshop skills with many of these photos. If you could have seen just how bad of shape many were in before I started playing with them. Nice to see the real detail they began life with when they were originally created.

Also forgot to mention, I usually keep the thread title very simple and to the point so that it's easy to find with the search tool for anyone who wishes to go back and find a particular type thread. That's important IMHO

Anyone ready for some P-61's ....

Next up:

BT-1's
Sea Fury's
More Corsairs
More P-38's
More P-47's
... and some very cool photos of "Aviation people"

Man, Who are you

... I'm just 'A high plains drifter'

Mark, you know I'm pretty jaded when it comes to the Sea Wolf. But I'll slap you with the XTBU/TBY-2 "glove of challenge" anyway. Amaze us, big guy!

Well Dan, knowing you as I do here on WIX I would have expected a bit more of a challenge. If you can give me a little time to clean a nice stack of photos up in photoshop. You'll have your XTBU / TBY-2's.

Grumman tried hard to sell the Navy spinners but they just weren't buying. I guess by the time they got to the Bearcat they decided it wasn't worth the effort!
