Thanks for posting the Forbes article. It's mostly fluff , but there were a couple of interesting items. The part that really had my hair on end was Kermit's wish to own a Martin Mars! That's terrific news, as I have always worried what will happen to these magnificent aircraft when they are finally retired. There'll at least be a place for them to stay undercover eventually!

Cheers,
Richard

There are two Spitfires and a Hurricane that were under rebuild in the UK belonging to Mr. Weeks. The number of 1710 engines mentioned in a previous post was off by about 1/2.
He is selling 2 Yak-11s if anyone is interested.

I would hope the Navy would be all over at least one of the Mars.

Good to hear that he wants one.

That is great news...breathing a sigh of relief. I do wish he would
move it all somewhere safer though. Hurricane Heaven makes me
nervous. The old Chance Vought/Navy Dallas is an intriguing thought...and
they have a lake too! Of course, that is part of Tornado Alley, but no
tidal surge to worry over.

TonyC,
1 barrel of oil=42 US gallons or 1 Texas babybottle, or 1 Texas shotglass
