On Feb. 9, 1963 Boeing's E-001 departed Renton Muni (KRNT) on it's first test flight which ended @ Everett's KPAE. E-001 went from N 72700 to N 7001U as it then spent the next 27 years on UNITEDS routes, it's last landing came @ KPAE when it was donated to Seattles MoF as ' The Spirit of Seattle' repainted by UAL back into it's original 1965 paint scheme. So time to raise a toast to the workhorse of commercial jets, the three holer.
