I can't remember the year, but I do recall when TWA sold off their remaining Connies at the old overhaul base, what is now Kansas city International. I think you could get a package deal...two for $25,000. One of them was converted to a restaurant downtown, but failed within a year and was scrapped on the spot...made from page of KC Star both times.

At least it's a good depiction of the big differences between the regular and Super versions - also noticed a couple T-6s in the first photo.
