Mystery P-63 Kingcobra revisited

A year or two ago I posted this image from the March/April 1993 Warbirds International page 49 (lower half). I have my theories to its identity but would like to first see what WIXERS may know about it...

and a closeup of the nose area...

Another mystery P-63 photo appears at the Depot 41 website where a Kingcobra with a lightning bolt paint scheme appears, we assume, in the Kingman scrapyard. If not an already civilianized P-63, this one must be a Squadron "hack" type plane or something as it sure doesn't represent a typical military paint scheme.

The initial picture in this thread isn't "Another Mystery P-63"

its a P-39.

bearclawz is correct. The photo is of a P-39. On a P-63, the nose gear torque links are in front of the nose gear strut. Also the P-63 did not have inboard gear doors. The tarpaulin covers the other recognizable differences.
I would like to know what P-39 this is, as the only 3 P-39's that I know of that had PADDLE BLADED 4-blade props installed. Cobra I, Cobra II and Mira Slovaks "Mr. Mennen" (for a short time). Mike Carroll got a paddle bladed 4 prop with Cobra II when he bought the aircraft from Ed Maloney. The photo does not look like anyplace where Maloney had it. Could it be Cobra II before Maloney got it?

Good day!

Sometime ago after the late L. Thompson posted the above pic of the P-39 someone id the aircraft & the owner. Poss J. Sandberg. Will dig a pic of it in another place. The olive drab scheme is indeed interesting for that era.
