What airplane did you see flying today?(airplane spotting)

it's an M28 (Polish version of the An-28) - there are a bunch in the US flying for AFSOC - now allocated as C-145A

Probably a SOCOM M-28 C-145A Skytruck...

First off, apologies for the poor quality, but I just barely had time to grab the camera from the car and get this shot as he was flying away.

About 5:30 this evening over Decatur, TX, probably 3000 feet or so.

I know what I [i]think[i] it is, based on my Janes and some internet research, but I will be interested in all of y'alls input. Definitely an unusual aircraft over Decatur!

There was another KC-135 on the ramp at Detroit Metro (DTW) this afternoon.

...and there was another An-124 on the ramp today also, you could see the tail from quite a ways off. I do wonder though, why there is a Russian transport on the ramp in Detroit.

Does it count if it's your own and it wasn't exactly flying.......the bird came out of the hangar for the first time since early March 2012........to do engine runs on the new rear engine. Few kinks to tweek and an annual to finish.....then we'll be flying again.....long time coming

Probably because the charter cost was more afforable than other freight dogs and time do be mownay, they fly into KPAE occasionally lugging engines to Boeing.

Heard Collings was out this morning getting some 262 time. Much harder to hedzup for the jets, the recip engines are so much easier to listen for!

Looks like a couple of the VAQ's @ Whidbey must be readying for deployment, skies have literally been abuzz night and day with EA-18 GROWLERS the last few days making trips to the Boardman range and back.

Canon Eos Rebel T3, with an 18-55 zoom and a 75-300 zoom. I finally decided to join the digital darkside, it was becoming too difficult to find places to get film developed. And in the long run, the amount of money I "save" by not paying for developing pictures will "pay" for the cost of the camera.

Southwest Airlines 737 at Love Field. Even though you can't see it in this picture, does anyone have any idea what the large bulge on top of these new 737's is? Air conditioning pack or something?
